Neville John was instrumental in getting a plaque erected in memory of Merthyr-born musician, Evan Thomas (ET) Davies. The plaque is situated at the Soar Theatre in Merthyr Tydfil and was unveiled on 1st October 2015.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by ET’s great niece, Sally Mueller, and great nephew, Ieuan Jones, and included a musical performance by Neville John (cello) and Dr William Reynolds (piano), a song performed by Debra Williams, and a lecture on ET’s life and work.
